About Me
Experience
I am fortunate to have a varied range of experience working in the field of mental health. I have worked with children, adolescents, families and adults. The bulk of my experience has been working with youth and adults experiencing severe emotional disturbance. This has allowed me to fine tune my skills in conflict resolution, crisis intervention and short term individual/family therapy for immediate stabilization. I have worked with clients experiencing: depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar, and personality disorders. I have worked in non profit and county and have held various positions which has allowed me to fully integrate my knowledge of the mental health system.
My personal passion of competing in the equestrian sport has broadened my skill set to working with athletes (the human ones). I have coached competitors to achieve their goals in the weeks leading up to a competition and also while at the event.
My goal in the work that I do is helping others achieve mental wellness, whatever that looks like to them. If I do not have the expertise to help you, or we are not a good fit, I am happy to help you find someone who will be.
